Buck Creek Pass
This area offers the hiker much more than a great hike. At Buck Creek Pass you will get great views of Glacier Peak the fourth highest active volcano in Washington State at 10,500 ft. Spectacular in it's self. You also have mountain meadows, full of wildflowers. Then you have High Pass, a spectacular rugged snow filled place with a gem of a mountain lake, Triad Lake. Also great views of Buck Mountain (8528 ft) Clark Mountain and much more

To get there take highway 2, 22 miles north to the Lake Wenatchee Road turnoff. Then the chiwawa loup turn-off to Chiwawa River Rd 23 miles to the end and the Phelps Creek Campground.
