Robin Lakes/Granite Mountain Potholes

One the most spectacular hiking areas in the Central Cascades is the Granite Mountain Potholes Area. This hike is for the experience off trail hiker, because once you get to Robin Lakes the way up to Granite Lake Potholes is a scramble. By scanning the mountainside and using a topo map you will be able to find a good route up. The views are incredible once you get to Robin Lakes and on up to Granite Potholes. The trail from Tuck Lake to Robin Lakes is pretty rough in places and looks more like a bushwhackers trail more than a planned trail

Getting There: Take I-90 to exit 80(Roslyn/Salmon La Sac). Drive about 3 miles to State Route 903 turn left here and drive thru Roslyn and Ronald about 17 miles to where the road forks, take the right fork onto FR4330 and drive another 12 miles to the Deception Pass Trailhead.
