Deer Creek (Montezuma)

Deer Creek is an great trail for beginners or someone that wants to escape the crowds and ski in solitude and high altitude dry snow back country. A great trail for families that like to ski together, Deer Creek's chance of avalanche is low

Getting there: I-70 to US-6 east, turn onto Montezuma Road 7 miles past Montezuma, trail starts at road end
Trail Length: 4.6 miles roundtrip
Starting elevation: 10,550 ft
Elevation gain: 880 ft
