The Chinese Wall

Getting There: Coming from Augusta take the Benchmark Road to Willow Creek Road, take it left to the end of the road. The South Fork of the Sun River trailhead starts here.

Take the Holland Lake-Benchmark Trail along the South Fork of the Sun River. At Benchmark take trail 202 for 5 miles to trail 203. Take this trail for about 11 miles to Indian Creek Trail, Trail 211 to White River Pass, elevation 7,590 feet on the south end of the Chinese Wall. From here, take Trail 138 along the South Fork of the White River to the White River and Trail 112. Take this trail to the South Fork of the Flathead River at White River Park. Across the river, you'll find Murphy Flats and Trail 263 along the river to Trail 110

Because of the numerous trail changes on this hike you best get the proper Topo maps and plan out you hike step by step yourself. It can be a little confusing reading all the directional changes and figure out where your going. It's also more fun to plan it all out yourself.
