Baron Lakes

Getting There: Park near the Redfish Lake Lodge. Then take the boat shuttle across the lake. The boat shuttle leaves on request and picks up 4 times daily 9 am, 2 pm, 5 pm and 7 pm at Inlet Camp. The trail starts at the Redfish Lake Inlet Transfer Camp.

Location: Redfish Lake, Sawtooth Wilderness
Trailhead: Redfish Transfer Camp to Flatrock Junction
Elevation: Trail starts a 6,550 ft reaching the high point at the pass above Baron Lake. There is an 800 ft drop down to the lake.
Trail Length: 16 miles roundtrip
Elevation Gain: 2,600 ft plus 800 ft getting out of the lake
