I don't believe there is a more stunningly beautiful area in the Washington Cascades than the Robin Lakes/Granite Mountain Potholes area of the Central Cascades. From the top of Granite Mountain you get spectacular views of Robin Lakes, Granite Potholes, Phoebe Lakes, and Leland Lake, as well as mile after mile of the Cascade Mountain Range. If you are up for the very strenuous hike of a 20 mile roundtrip and an elevation gain of almost 4,000 feet you won't be disappointed.
